Taken as part of the "Odyssey" visual series and short film that follows two sisters homeward bound, who are displaced from each other after an emergency landing.
MEET MARIA The brains and numbers behind the operation, and quite by the book at times, Maria awakens from a sudden crash landing. Estranged from her space fleet, Maria is trying to put the pieces back together. With no working technology around her, Maria seeks refuge and guidance from the divine. In her quest to find her team and resume the odyssey home, she finds direction from above.

ACT II: CRASH LANDING (2020) is part of the ODYSSEY VISUAL SERIES. A four-act short film and photo series that follows a group of travelers on an odyssey back home after their mission is interrupted by a sudden crash landing. This is a tale centered around a homecoming of sorts: returning home to one’s self in a quest to self-discovery and coming home to one’s tribe.
MEET XENIA Captain of her space fleet, Xenia is stranded and estranged from her crew after an emergency landing. With her commanding presence, Xenia is determined to find her crew and continue the quest afoot.
THE ODYSSEY NEVER ENDS (2020-) is a four-act short film and photo series about a group of astronauts on their quest to a home they have never been, but always imagined: free of the "-isms" stemmed in anti-black systems. A utopian home that's calling their spirit. A home without any constraints on one's peace and autonomy. However, when the travelers awaken from an emergency crash landing, they are estranged and must find their way back to each other in hopes of obtaining what's been promised to them.
This is a quest to a home they've never been to, but are called to through divine ancestral guides. This is a tale centered around a homecoming of sorts: returning home to one’s self in a quest to self-discovery and coming home to one’s tribe.
